Conference Details

Exploration 27 will take place from October 23–28, 2027, and will consist of workshops, plenary sessions, technical sessions, poster sessions, an exhibition, social events and a field trip. A detailed schedule will be posted as it is developed.

Venue

The conference will be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (mtcc.com) in the iconic John Bassett Theatre and Constitution Hall. 

Accommodation

Several excellent hotels exist in the downtown area. Exploration 27 is currently negotiating with hotels for preferred rates for our delegates. Please pre-register to stay up to date regarding hotel registration.

Transportation

Toronto’s Pearson International Airport (YYZ) is the primary airport in Toronto and is located northwest of the city, approximately a 30 minute taxi ride from downtown. The main airlines are Air Canada (a member of Star Alliance) and West Jet. Billy Bishop Airport (YTZ) is a smaller airport located in the downtown area and may be an alternative option. 

The Union Pearson Express (UP) Train is a train line that connects YYZ to the downtown core, with a terminal at Union Station. More information can be found here.
